Our Y10 Performing Arts students went to see Mamma Mia the musical at the Palace Theatre with Mrs Bowker, Mr Bulger and Miss Smith this week. 🎭️
They loved seeing dance, music, drama and technical skills bringing a production to life and this experience will support in completing their studies.

📚 The Book Fair Coming to School! 📚
We’re excited to let you know that our School Book Fair will be taking place during the week beginning Monday 16th March!
There will be a fantastic selection of books available, including half-price titles and some great bundle deals — perfect for refreshing your child’s bookshelf and encouraging a love of reading.
Pupils will be able to visit the book fair during break and lunch times.
Cash and cashless payments will be accepted.
Staff at Cedar Mount brought stories to life this World Book Day by dressing up as a fantastic range of book characters. From classic favourites to modern heroes, it was wonderful to see so much creativity and enthusiasm across the school.📚️
The costumes sparked plenty of conversations about books and reading, helping to make the day even more memorable for our pupils. A big thank you to all staff who took part and helped celebrate the joy of reading with our Cedar Mount community.

The Year 8 football team secured an impressive 3–1 victory over Loreto High in an exciting and well-fought match. Levi led the charge with two excellent goals, while Ali Butt Rani added a third to seal the win.
At the back, Ali Muhammed put in a superb defensive performance, helping keep Loreto at bay. Messi made an immediate impact off the bench, providing an assist within a minute of stepping onto the pitch.
The majority of the team were also fasting during the month of Ramadan and played the entire match showing outstanding resilience, determination, and commitment. Following the final whistle, the players opened their fast together on the pitch. It was fantastic to see the dedication and effort shown by our students both on and off the field.
With just two matches left to play, the team now has their sights firmly set on winning the league.
