In February, students from Years 9 & 10 had an exciting opportunity to work with the BBC and a television crew from Lizard Fish to film a short sketch for National Apprenticeship Week. Students were told they were meeting ‘Barry’ a careers advisor to discuss their options after leaving school however unbeknown to them it was a prank interview with television presenter Sam Nixon in disguise as Barry handing out TERRIBLE career advice. The look on our students faces during the interviews was priceless as they thought they were getting top-quality tips from a professional.
The BBC team were really impressed with our students, in fact, they went as far to say “We’ve found your pupils to be the best to work with!”
