Cedar Mount Academy is proud to celebrate an impressive increase in the GCSE results, with this summer’s results demonstrating significant progress across the school. Success in English and Mathematics has risen once again, and students have achieved higher standards across a broad range of subjects. These achievements reflect the determination of our young people, the commitment of staff and the support of families working together.
Principal, Stephen Garvey, commented:
“These results mark an important step forward for Cedar Mount Academy. We are especially pleased to see clear improvement across core subjects including English and Mathematics, alongside some exceptionally strong performances in many other areas. This year’s outcomes demonstrate the significant progress the school is making and the momentum we are building. Our students should be very proud of what they have achieved.”
Amongst this year’s cohort are several exceptional individual achievements. Emmanuella Odunlami gained a remarkable set of results, including multiple grade 9s and 8s. Abdulrahman Alhaj Naima secured consistently high grades across all of his subjects, while both Eloyra Chi Chenui and Abeera Butt Mir achieved a string of top results, demonstrating strength across a broad curriculum.
Cedar Mount Academy is determined to build on these improvements and to support every student in achieving their very best. We are proud of all our Year 11s and wish them every success as they move on to sixth form, college, apprenticeships or training, and into the next exciting stage of their lives.
